Eco Waterbased Inks

The NSDS Group (Pty) Ltd originates out of the merger of the screen and digital supplies companies Rexx Chemicals (Pty) Ltd and Reprotec Graphics CC and the acquisition of the screen ink manufacturing company GL Specialized Inks. Both Rexx Chemicals, screen and digital supplies company and Reprotec have a long history in the traditional screen printing market in the industrial, graphic and textile market segments. The technical expertise within the group in the screen printing arena is held in the highest regard throughout Southern Africa.

The NSDS Group (Pty) Ltd is made up of the following companies: National Screen & Digital Supplies (Cape) (Pty) Ltd, National Screen & Digital Supplies (KZN) (Pty) Ltd, National Screen & Digital Supplies (Gauteng) (Pty) Ltd, NSDS Digital (Pty) Ltd, NSDS Properties (Pty) Ltd, GL Specialized Inks (Pty) Ltd & Reprotec Graphics (Pty) Ltd. We have full service screen printing and digital printing supply facilities in Cape Town, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng. The facilities in Cape Town, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng are owned by the group. The GL Specialized inks facility is a purpose built state of the art screen ink manufacturing plant, with top quality production, quality control and laboratory facilities.

Historically the company’s main area of operation is the supply of equipment and consumables into the industrial, graphic and textile screen printing markets. We also offer full service into these market segments including technical support, service, local deliveries, organization of shipping, screen stretching, screen coating and exposing, ink colour matching, onsite demonstrations, training and a host of other related value added services. NSDS represents and distributes many of the world’s leading screen printing product brands, information on all of which can be found on this site.

NSDS Digital (Pty) Ltd is our newest company and is still in the early stages of its development. We have employed highly competent technical people for the functions of engineering support and colour management, as we believe this to be the backbone of success in this demanding and fast developing market. We have sold 4 Inca Spyder Digital flat bed presses, the first on the African continent! In addition to the Inca world class range of flat bed printers we also offer a comprehensive range of UV combination printers from Dilli in Korea, solvent based wide and super wide format roll to roll printers from DGI in Korea. We carry many other products including cutting plotters, automatic coating equipment and have recently launched the range of direct to garment printers from DTG in Australia.

Our hands on service offering includes; machine sales, installations, full colour profiling and aftermarket engineering service and repairs to most digital printing machines. We are currently on a focused drive to convert machines in the market onto our 3rd party ink system from Marabu. We can proudly say that we have already made a solid impact in this area of new business. Our technical/engineering staff is trained on most current digital printing presses and has an outstanding reputation in the sub-Saharan African market.

We wish to be able to bring the best possible range of printing presses, allied equipment and service solutions to our already existing large customer base. This is supported by our existing comprehensive sales, administrative and financial teams, whom have in excess of 25 years experience in the printing industry.

The collective group employs a staff compliment in excess of 100 personnel.
